Sheridan Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a 191-bed, skilled nursing and psychiatric facility located in Chicago, IL. We are a lakefront facility with several rooms offering a view of Lake Michigan! Welcome to Sheridan Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center located in Chicago, Illinois. We are a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center that serves our residents with personalized, goal-oriented care. Our staff strives to truly know each and every one of our residents on an individual basis and provide the level of care expected of a caring and quality facility.

Our amenities include lakefront views, complimentary haircuts in our in-house salon, and specialty programs such as Adapt and Moving On to enable our residents to feel involved in their community.

Comprehensive Nursing
Our services are administered by an expert staff of compassionate professionals. As our team collaborates for the best possible goals our nursing department provides excellent care combined with dignity for our residents. Professionally staffed around the clock, we give your loved one comfort and specialized care.
Rehabilitation
Our comprehensive rehabilitation program focuses on the mental and physical aspects of each resident. Our team works on improving physical strength, performing activities of daily living, and managing any mental health needs. Sheridan Village offers the unique advantage of having a team that continually monitors the medical and psychological progress of each resident.
Long-Term Care
We fully support residents and their families as they transition from the comforts of their homes to our lakefront facility. Residents will be involved in therapy as prescribed by their physician and involved in structured daily activities to stimulate their social and emotional well-being.
Behavioral Care
Sheridan Village offers unique programming for individuals with behavioral needs. Our Master’s and Bachelor’s level Social Services are available to residents 7 days a week. Daily group and individual therapy are provided and managed by Doctoral Candidates under the daily supervision of our in-house Doctorate of Clinical Psychology. Our Doctoral Candidates provide our residents with psychological testing as well.
Activities
A positive and uplifting atmosphere is vital to the success of healing, recovery, and rehabilitation. We provide a monthly activity calendar to each resident to keep them informed of upcoming events. Friends and family are always welcome!
Social Services
We will assist each resident with discharge planning, independent living skills, and community placement to help each resident thrive outside of our caring environment.
